A school uniform is worn as an aid in developing school spirit and identification with the school. It also helps children to attend school on an equal footing and promote an inclusive culture and equality, despite differing socio-economic backgrounds and without undue pressure from the latest fashion fads. The children are to adhere to wearing of the school uniform at all times.
Hats - In Terms 1 & 4 the “no hat - no play” rule exists. Children without a hat must sit in a designated shade area. A school hat must be worn and these are available from the uniform shop.
Uniform Shop - We have a school uniform shop operating at the school. It operates on Friday 8.30am - 9.15am. It sells second hand clothing as well new tracksuits, school jackets, hats, sports shirts and kinder packs. Order forms are also available at the office or click here to download.
Girls
Summer - Blue and white check A line dress (white collar) or navy blocker shorts and sky blue pleated blouse, navy socks, black shoes.
Winter - Blue check pinafore, blue blouse with Peter Pan collar, navy socks or tights, black shoes, navy blue embroidered logo woolen jumper or navy blue embroidered logo fleecy jumper . Navy pants can also be worn.
Sports - Navy blue skirt or shorts. Blue polo t-shirt with embroidered school logo on it, white socks and joggers. School tracksuit available from school shop.
Boys
Summer - Grey blockers style shorts and blue shirt, grey socks (blue and red stripe), black shoes.
Winter - Grey trousers, blue shirt, tie (blue and red stripe), jumper (navy blue embroidered logo woolen jumper or navy blue embroidered logo fleecy jumper), grey socks (blue and red stripe), black shoes.
Sports - Navy blue shorts, blue polo t-shirt with embroidered school logo on it, white socks and joggers. School tracksuit available from school shop.
Note: The Sports Uniform Tracksuit, sports jacket, sports shirt and hat is only available from the School Uniform Shop
Uniforms are available from the School Uniform Shop and Lowes.
We have an excellent range of good quality second hand clothing available to purchase, just request on the Order form " Second hand item" please.
A Kindergarten Pack is also available from the uniform shop.
All property, especially clothing, belonging to a child should be clearly marked with his/her name. No responsibility can be taken for property lost or damaged at school. Every effort is made to locate the owner of the property which is found, but this is difficult when items are not marked.
INAPPROPRIATE ACCESSORIES
The following items are not considered acceptable parts of school uniform
· Sneakers/joggers or slip-on shoes for boys are not to be worn with the school uniform
· Silver or gold ear studs are permitted but not dangling or large studs. There must be an even number of earrings (if it is in the left ear it must be in the right). Spacers, plugs, bolts etc. are not to be worn.
· Coloured nail polish is not to be worn at school
· Bangles, bracelets, etc are not to be worn at school. Only a chain with religious symbols and signet rings are acceptable items of jewelry
· Unusual hair cuts, such as designs cut in, and dyed colours are not acceptable. If hair touches the collar it MUST be tied back.
